Enjoy the vibrant flavour at Ripe Wanaka, the pairings at Clyde wine and food festival, the diverse offerings at the Southland Beer, Wine and Wild Food festival along with the world-famous Bluff Oyster & Food Festival,
Each event showcases unique regional produce, live entertainment, and opportunities to meet local producers.

If running or multisport events are something you’re after, our Autumn events are well worth exploring. There is the well known Motutapu Trail Run or the Te Anau Enduro that are run early in the season, the Northburn 100, for the ultra-fit or for a team's event, the Gorge Adventure Race in Southland. To round off the season with beautiful autumn colours, the Arrowtown Autumn festival Fun Run is suitable for the family as well.


These next two events are run over Easter weekend, on alternate years and are sure to please everybody in the family. Warbirds over Wānaka showcases all things flying, from vintage aircraft, the latest from the New Zealand Airforce, to large and fast aircraft from other air forces based in the Pacific.
Wheels at Wānaka is an all vehicle, all machinery history-in-motion vintage fair - including steam engines. tractors and farming heritage, cars, motorbikes, trucks, earth movers and heavy machinery. Buzzing with energy and a full programme of events it is not to be missed.
Once you’ve finished here, head to Dunedin to experience the thrill of the Otago Rally, part of the New Zealand Rally championship.
